For example, the Selangor Environment, Green Technology and Consumer Affairs committee chairman Hee Loy Sian has received 13 complaints about the illegal plastic recycling factories of Kuala Langat as stated in the Malaymail. The residents of Kuala Langat claimed in The Star that they get sick and illnesses more frequently after those illegal factories started to operate at there.

Therefore, the government had taken action to eliminate the illegal plastic recycling factories especially in Kuala Langat.
