“You should cultivate recycling habit!”

Isn’t it annoying when somebody orders you to do recycling? And they always like to direct your decision. Tell you do this and that.

Since we know the future will be horrible without recycling from my previous post. But, why don’t we share the awareness in different ways, where rubbish is reduced.

📌 Fun by Fun — make your own recycling crafts

To throw the rubbish in the trash and let the authority send them to landfill, this is not the only way. You can REUSE the unwanted materials. These are the three common recycling crafts you can easily make:

#1 plastic pen holder

For the plastic pen holder, you just need to prepare a clean plastic bottle in any shape you like. Cut it from the middle of the bottle to reach the height you prefer. Then, use the cellophane tape to stick around the incision part. Make sure the incision part will not cut your finger when you use the plastic pen holder. After that, we can start to decorate it with colour papers, paints, scissor, UHU gum and others.

#2 glass container for all

This is a simple way to avoid wasting. When the glass container, include a jar or bottle, of a product is finished using, don’t throw it to dustbin. You can actually reuse it again as it is quite durable. One thing to remember is that put a label on the reusable glass container. Then, you will not need to worry that other people mistaken the reused glass container for its original product purpose.

#3 Aluminum can windmills

Most of the people like soda drink in aluminum can, especially during celebration such as birthday party, Chinese New Year and Christmas. It is easier to use for a situation where many people need to drink water. So, what happened after the drink finish? Become a trash? Below will show you a more creative way to settle the problem.

A creative way of using the aluminum cans is in decoration. All we need are the soda drink aluminum can, scissor/knife, cork, screwdriver and iron wire (The materials are subject to change according to ways of making). Watch the video below to learn the basic steps to make windmills.
